How can I update the dependencies to get this to work? below is what I see in $ sudo dpkg -i chrome-remote-desktop_current_b I've tried sudo apt-get -f install and sudo apt update as suggested on other sites, but the issue persists. I'm trying to install Chrome Remote Desktop on Raspberry Pi Desktop. I have tried turning on the option in desktop sharing settings to allow others to view my desktop as I am not clear which way this should be set up but it makes no difference either on or off.Hi.
Is this perhaps me failing to recognise or act on something or is this a problem with the system/software? I would greatly appreciate if anybody who has done this could walk me through or confirm. The my computers box contracts removing all text except the heading “My Computers” and the cyclic arrow but nothing further seems to happen! I do not get any list which I would have expected to show just the one computer that I am working on!!!

Nothing further seems to happen! I do not get any code box returned as expected!!!Īlternatively if I select “get started” in the my computers box then: I get message downloading host installer …. Select “Share” in the remote assistance box
I have then perform the following sequence:
Where requested to allow access then I have allowed in each case and where requested have signed onto a chrome account. I'm struggling to get Chrome Remote Desktop to run on my newly installed Qiana xfce syetem having installed fresh Qiana xfce and applied all updates, I've installed Google Chrome and then the Remote Desktop app all without problem. I'm not very experienced with Linux and not sure if this is a problem with “me” Chrome or Qiana xfce!
